Split between professional and personal, the following video examples are indicative of my range and growth as a video editor. My role for each project has been detailed beneath.
Professional
A 10 Year Journey, Joint Learning Network, Spring 2022
After 10 successful years of the Joint Learning Network’s Provider Payment Initiative, I was given the opportunity to develop a video highlighting key variables of the project, and share experiences from participating members. I developed this video from start to finish, including scoping and initial design, storyboarding and scripting, recording interviews, cutting together the footage and b-roll, and working with an illustrator to animate the introduction element. This video is in partnership with the Provider Payment Mechanisms podcast series I produced for the same client.
Divers Clean Action, USAID, Summer 2019
I helped the clients layout a video outline and storyboard, as well as aided in the scripting. I conducted the interviews remotely, and with the client-provided B-roll, edited the video together.
Local Works, USAID, Spring 2020
This video highlights my skills as a video editor and my ability to cut together a narrative from interview clips. I helped the client select the best interview clips to include, and helped draft a voiceover that would tie together these clips into a strong narrative. Using the provided b-roll, I edited together this video using Premiere Pro, with additional graphics using After Effects. I think it’s a strong example of my video editing skills, as it sets the baseline for my understanding of the post-production process.
Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Press Event, Upbeat Productions, Spring 2017
During my time as a Junior Editor/Intern at Upbeat Productions, the other intern and I were given a large responsibility of managing this high-profile press event on our own. Together, we traveled to the event and represented our company at the junket, filming b-roll and interview footage for a press piece. I filmed while she was interviewing, and in post-production, I cut everything together.
The Time of Their Lives World Premiere, Upbeat Productions, Spring 2017
During my time as a Junior Editor/Intern at Upbeat Productions, I was given the responsibility of going to numerous red carpet premieres and filming the press interviews. Alongside a colleague who managed the interviewing, I filmed each event and cut together the press piece. This, alongside other examples, are depictions of my skills as a videographer.

Personal
In my free time, and as a way of combining two of my passions, I always produce short films following a trip. I use these as a way of remembering my trip better, because for me, video surpasses photos in capturing the energy and mood of an environment. However, I also love to create these, simply because I love video production and editing. Sometimes the work I do professionally doesn’t allow me to get super creative in my editing style and here, I’m able to flex that and have fun with it. Below are just a few of my favorite, and most recent travels, though the rest of my work can be found via my YouTube channel here.
